Como's Food Preservation Workshop Series

Como Green Village and the NE/SE Local Food Resource Hub bring Food Preservation Workshop Series to SE Minneapolis!


Learn how to waterbath can high-acid foods (jams and tomato products) and preserve your favorite herbs during the August/September class series funded by Allina Neighborhood Connection grant. Canning expert Angela Mazur from the NE/SE Local Food Resource Hub will lead two hands-on sessions where participants leave with canned products. Further, Angela will teach all about preserving herbs at the 2012 Como Cookout. Look for her at exhibiting at a resource table or sign up for her workshop that day.
